Early this week I was contacted by Surpass Hosting about my dedicated server saying they had received hard drive error messages from the server. They were proactive about it and replaced the drive quickly; however, even after replacement they still received the same errors. By diagnosing the problem further they found out that the motherboard was bad. They did a complete replacement of the server and my site was back up and functioning within 8 hours of the initial problem; the server was only unreachable for 1 hour during that 8 hour period. For my trouble they provide me with a backup drive, which is why Surpass rocks my socks
