I think my time with surpass hosting is coming to an end I am extremely upset that I continue to have problems with the server connecting or getting numerous errors all over my sites. Everything was good the first year I was on surpass and now on my 2nd year it's going down hill and I am considering leaving..I have never had to put in some many support tickets since March 18, for the same issues that keep coming back over and over..(payment issues, server not found, file access disabled errors) I am as of right now looking at finding another host...just because you have good prices does not mean anything if the service sucks and is unreliable..I would rather pay more for good service.

On that ticket the issue is that your applications require allow_url_fopen to be enabled. That is actually a security risk which we recommend against. But some applications require it due to how they were programmed.... I will let you know the steps to take to enable it locally only for your site in case this happens again.
As you can see here your server was recently upgraded to improve service. Many hosts are not even implementing the newest PHP and MySQL versions. But we have an ongoing schedule of these upgrades. SH98 (72.29.89.97) : Shared I apologize that the upgrade caused the issues on your site but overall the server has improved in both quality and security. Things should be smooth after a few fixes that relate to how your site uniquely works.

Yes I did see the update for the sh98 servers and I am thankful for that don't get me wrong I am not unappreciative but this issue has been ongoing. Please let me know the steps needed to enable the allow_url_fopen because the errors are screwing up the whole site(s). I will also check my ticket for a response.
