Thumbs down Extremely Unhappy

First off, I've been with the company for 1 1/2 months and out of NO WHERE my website got shut down and I got an email saying I need a dedicated server, well no other hosting company has ever said this. No notice or anything before my website was just shut down. Well I can't afford a dedicated server at the moment so I'm practically forced to change hosts.

So I filled out a cancellation form, and it "says" that I have 24 hours to get my site back well little did I know my account would AUTOMATICALLY get deleted. I had no time to save my website to my harddrive so I had to resend ANOTHER form to get it UNCANCELLED. But I have yet to receive my website back or an email.

Unfortunately my website is my full time income and if I don't get it back I will be forced to take legal action as it is loss of income if I don't get it returned in time to save my site and it says I have 24 hours to uncancel.

I'm very upset because I left a bad host to come to this company and I'm forced to go back to them.

If you received an email like that, your site was causing the shared server to crash. We cannot allow one site to cause such a huge problem on a server with other clients on it. On the flip side, the same action would be taken to prevent issues occurring to your own site.

We do not delete any site in such a short time frame, the time frame is normally 60 days. What is your ticket ID?

Kayla if theres 1 thing I do LOVE about this company it's the extremely quick responses, and thanks for reassuring me my site is not yet canceled

Ticket ID: ZCV-934740
Subject: DO NOT DELETE MY ACCOUNT!
Department: Accounting Division
Priority: Default
Status: Open

that's my ticket, I understand why my site was shut down, I was just upset I had no notice before it got down.

This is my job and I didn't realize I wouldn't have the time to a backup after I sent the cancellation form.

Again, thanks for the quick response.

Unfortunately, your account was causing high load on the server. This means that other sites hosted on this server were being slowed down due to your resource usage. Instead of allowing the problem to persist, we disabled two directories on this account in an attempt to stabilize the load level on the server.

For what it's worth, this is an action we take only when other customers are being affected.

All it takes to resolve this is a comment in a ticket. We all understand that you're upset about these problems, but baseless legal threats really don't speed up ticket response times...

You will be able to download your files now - all it takes is a post in this forum to speed up a ticket. That's why we're here! I hope that you can have a better feeling about the situation now.

It works! Thanks so much for your help Kayla. I also read up on it and I understand why my account was suspended now, see my understanding was I thought that you were basically saying I ran out of bandwidth but my cpanel said I wasnt so I thought I was falsly suspended, but now I know what you meant by too many http connections. I sincerely apologize for being so rude. I appreciate all youve done for me! Thank you.
