I was having some trouble on pass55 (downtime, SQL errors, connections, etc.) and I was hearing about it constantly from my clients. Surpass was quick to fix errors, but the troubles would creep back up and again I'd get the phone calls and emails.
One client finally said he'd had enough and asked me to move him to another hosting company. Of course I said I would. He wasn't ready quite yet, so I posted an "FYI ticket" to Surpass saying I was losing a client due to downtime on the server. They asked if I wanted to move servers (I didn't even know that was an option) and I said yes. This post is not so much about moving servers as it is Surpass' quick responses, care for their clients, and giving me options. I thought I would just have to slowly do the one-by-one website move to another host (which I've done before and it just takes weeks and weeks). But I have to say that they managed to keep me as a reseller client and not only that but built trust that they do care about downtime and will take steps to prove it. I've been forwarding that client who was going to leave some of the ticket discussions I've been having with Surpass and he was so impressed that I took his downtime seriously and that Surpass took it seriously that he's going to stick with me! Thank you, Surpass team, for your hard work. It doesn't go unnoticed and it's very much appreciated.
