Thumbs up Surpass continues to impress...

Surpass hosting lives up to its name! Over on the XOOPS community forums Its clear that this host is getting continued good recommendations. And quite right too. It's a dodgy thing chosing a host ... will they supply? how much down time? Is it a good deal? How secure is my data? can it cope with my traffic?

Well, take a look t this thread here Surpass update taken from the XOOPS community forums. There's a lot of happy people there enjoying a definite YES to all those questions.

...Thanks to surpasshosting

I just read over that thread.

Wow.

Wow!

One thing though, we do offer SSH to responsible parties, and there is a one time fee of $20. We do not just hand it out like we used to.. it would get too messy.
We don't advertise that we do or don't offer it, in order to just do some filtering. :smilehehe

And thank YOU for starting that thread there. I would have thanked you earlier but I was busy getting glasses. For my computer eye strain. It's only minor.

You don't KNOW eyestrain... you young-un you....

I'm -5.25 in one eye, -5.5 in the other... both with DOUBLE astigmatism...

I've had glasses since the second grade... and was denied an ROTC scholarship to college due to poor vision...

Lucky you - I'm -7.5 in both eyes. Tried to get lasik and they said it was too bad.

Like you, I've been wearing glasses since the 2nd grade. Couldn't for the life of me figure out how anybody could read what was up on the chalk board. Got a pair glasses and realized what everybody else was seeing.

They claim there will be a surgery available to fix my sight next year, for about $8,000. Need to start signing up some customers.

No.. that would be -10, I belive.

On the Old scales I'm like 20/400 (what something at 20 feet looks like to me would look the same to a person with perfect vision at 400 ft).

When I was being evaluated for the lasik, I asked about the 20/x scale, since that was what I could understand.

They said mine was 20/750.

Bats have better eyesight than me.
