#1 - Communication
Service & uptime are great for the price of the hosting. The worst thing about downtime is the wondering??? Do they know it's down? Do they care? Are they working on it? Within some variations of speed and price, a hosting box is pretty much the same from company to company - the real difference is the support - what happens when something doen't work... such as when SpamAssassin stopped working...
-- copy of a message I posted in the resellers forum -- Once i finally reported this to support, they jumped right on it. After a few unsuccessful attepmts, it was sent up to an admin (thank you, Binish). Repairs can take some time - that's OK - especially since it was REALLY GREAT that i knew that a fix was in process. Communications really do help keep the frustration level down! ;-) Another great thing was that the tech support person (Josh B.) never tried to shirk responsibility or tell me it was my fault!! Thank you for great support and even better communication - this will keep me as a loyal customer. |
