As a Surpass Hosting client, you are eligible for a free, yes you have read right, a FREE WHMCS (Web Host Manager Complete Solution)! A $14 dollar a month cost, for free, by just be being a SH client. Can't get better then that? The tutorial/guide below will work for both SH clients and people who don't have hosting with Surpass, for those, you can skip the part where you enter your domain through the Surpass link, since it won't work for you unless you have hosting with us. Sorry.

If you are a Surpass customer, then please go to this page Free WHM Complete Solution [WHMCS] at Surpass Hosting! and click on the link on that page. From there you will be taken to a special section on the WHMCS website, where you will be asked to write out your domain that is hosted by Surpass. Remember, your hosting must be with Surpass, even though your domain name may not be. Also this is preferably for resellers or higher packages.



Once you've gotten the OK to proceed, you will be asked to fill out a sign-up form, once you have completed that you will be taken to the user cpanel. In order to download the script, you will need to click on the icon that says 'View your license.



On that page, you will see a list of current licenses for this script. Next to the one you just applied for, there will be a little button on the very right end. Click on this button.



On this page you will notice three large text areas, inside containing the number's for the license key and IP address. Also the domain that will be using the script. Further down you will see the 'Download' section. If this is a new set up then click on the middle download link.



Once you have downloaded the file, extract it and then open it. Click on the Read Me file and follow the instructions on uploading it to your server. As the Read Me file says, remember to create a MySQL database for this file, since you will have to put the details for the install page. If you have set up everything correctly then you should get an image like below. After that click on the proceed button.



Next you will have to fill out more information for the scripts also copy and paste the license key number that was located in the user cpanel for WHMCS. Follow the above steps in order to locate the License key.



Once you have finished the installation process, the Installation Complete page will come up and it will ask you to create a Cron Job. Copy and paste the command from the install complete page and paste it within the cron job feature in your Cpanel.



Once you are finished with that you're all set and ready to use your newly installed WHMCS! ENJOY!



Problems While Installing

If by any chance you might run into problems while uploading this script, please follow the solutions below.

Setting Permissions - When installing WHMCS, it asks for you to CHMOD certain files to 777. If you know that your server has PHP_SuExec enabled, then you are able to set permissions to 755 (which is much safer then 777).

Can't find the file template_c to CHMOD? - If by chance this file/folder is not within your downloaded files, then simply create it and CHMOD it, so that your installation will go through.
