[Reseller] Adding Plans/Packages to WHMCS
Adding plans/packages to your newly installed WHMCS doesn't have to be a hassle, with this simple to understand tutorial, you'll be adding new products in no time.
Once you are logged into your WHMCS admin panel, hover over the "configuration" category. A long menu with a list of links will show up, look for the link that says "products/services" and click it. ![]() You will be taken to a page were there are three links at the top; Create a New Group, Create a New Product, and duplicate a Product. Click on the one that says Create a New Group. ![]() You'll see an input field asking for the new groups name. I would call it either Plans or Packages, whatever name you have for what your are selling. For now we will go with Plans. Below the name field, you will see an option for a payment method that you can define. I chose Paypal, so Paypal is what showed up and I will tick it. ![]() After you click "create group" you will be taken to the products/services overview page. Now its time to make your "products". Click on the second link called "create new product". ![]() On the "add new product" page you will notice two drop down menus, one asking the product type, while the other is asking for the group it'll belong to. In the product type, you have the options to pick from Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS/Dedicated, or Other. I'll choose Shared for this one. The next one will be for plans, since that is the only group we made. Last type in the name of the product, it is a plan then a name like Ultimate will be fine. ![]() Click the continue button. You are then brought to the "details" page for your product. Fill in everything here as asked. ![]() Notice the other tabs at the top, click on the price one next. Remember to save as you go. On the price page, make sure to read everything carefully so you do not make any mistakes when setting your price details. ![]() The next important tab is the Module tab. Here you can define the module that will be used by the product. If you have a reseller account, cPanel will be what you pick automatically. If you have a Dedicated, then whichever panel system you are currently using will do. For now, we'll choose cPanel. Be sure to open your WHM account and define each setting/detail as posted on there. After that save the changes. ![]() Once you are done, click on the products/services link in the left menu box. You'll notice your newly made product in a table under your new group. That's all! ![]() Good Luck!
