[Tutorial] Install Putty On OS X Leopard

Here's the link of the tutorial I wrote (can't copy it here due to SEO reasons!)
This is for SSH users who want to use the program Putty on their Mac, instead of Terminal.

Are the directions good for Tiger?

Can you save profiles in Putty like in Windows putty? (tunnels, proxy, etc?)

I use Fugu to open SSH tunnels, but I havent figured out how to save profiles, like in Putty.... ;-)

It should work the same - the biggest thing is having Darwin or MacPorts. I'm sure you probably already have those developer tools installed, eh?

Definite yes on the profiles. Tons of profile goodness and logging.

Actually, I don't have those tools installed..

Although I did install SSHKeychain - About and it manages tunnel profiles, etc.

But I will give the putty a shot. I've been a putty-er in Windows forever.. ;-)

I fail to see why you'd want to use Putty over Terminal... especially in Leopard.

I am just an old school Putty user and I cannot get away. It has trapped me.

You can do just about anything in Terminal but it doesn't have GUI goodness. Or lameness, depending on how you look at it.
