I just upgraded one of my sites to SSL to give the users their own Private Area (I use phpBB2's login script).
When I use Firefox, Konqueror or Ephiany, I am OK with my secured pages. Howver, IE complains about an invalid certificate??? Do I need to create a XML based Security Policy for my site since the majority of users are IE. I know I can bypass the security on IE by saying load the page anyway, but when you are dealing with computer novices, it makes it more difficult... Thanks |

I may be wrong but I remember when we first started dealing with the problem with IE7. I think one of the problems was that if any images were loaded in that page from http:// instead of https:// it would cause that error.
I'm not sure if that ended up being the fix but worth a try?

Dan:
Thanks for the info. My question then is: Th whole site, uses the same images from the same directories. Is there something I'm missing about SSL? |
