Very nice clean design. The only I would suggest would be to either increase the size of the title or change it from the top to maybe the bottom of the header. For some reason, it just looks odd there to me. Great job. =)

I'm trying to figure out how to move it to the bottom. I've tried vertical-align: bottom; tried putting it in <p class="headertext"> </p> tags, but nothing I try works -_-.

Hmm.

verticle-align is to do with the alignment of the line-height, not the alignment of an object within a container.

Just put about 100px top padding on .header_text

You should probably put it in <h1> rather than <p>, anyway.
