They can install IonCube by request. They did it for me when I installed WHMCS back in September to try it out. I guess some guys at support are new and don't know exactly what to do... Ask them to forward the ticket to an admin and your problem will be resolved quickly.

Once everything is set up, you'll get your code from the surpass page on the whmcs site. That's what you'll get for free, courtesy of Surpass. Then, use the link that I provided in an earlier post in this thread to pay the difference if you want an unbranded license. That will go to Matt.

Edwin,

You're correct. The free license from Surpass is only for reseller/VPS/dedicated accounts.

That said, right now, everyone is downloading the free trial from whmcs. You could do that as well if you wanted to. Maybe, if you did that, you would get bitten by the hosting bug, and move to a reseller account.

Then you'd get your own free license.

...I seem to be having issues using it...
I tried to modify the header.tpl and footer.tpl and all it shows is a blank page when I try using it...
But if I change it back to the default it works...

Also, the e-mail thing doesn't seem to be working...
