WHMCS and Google Apps

Hi,

So I've been getting a lot of ****SPAM**** lately. A LOT of it. It comes on my business email and its really annoying.

So I've decided to use Google Apps for it. I love Gmail and its awesome.

But the thing is, I use WHMCS. So does anyone here know how do I use Google Apps for the domain and still use the emails as my support desk emails ? Meaning, how do I forward them for the piping thing ?

Thanks

I dont know the first thing about WHMCS, but, I do use google apps for my hosted email.

What I dont know is , how far along are you in the process? Exactly where are you hung up?

As far as getting your emails to google apps, once you setup your domain at google, you will need to update your MX record to point your mail to google. After that, all Internet email should end up there. As far as mail originating from your hosting server, it should be set to deliver based on your MX, and not to your local account.

I had to do that on my shared hosting account, and support was able to do it.

Hope that helps.

Hey puckchaser,

Thanks for the help. But I've used GApps before, and am currently using it for 3 of my domains. Setting it up for my business domains isn't the problem.

The thing is, WHMCS requires your emails to be forwarded to /pipe/pipe.php
Now, this is easily possible if you're using local mail. But I don't have the slightest clue how to do it via GApps. There is no mention of it whmcs forums, nor Google Groups for GApps.

Aww, its okay I'm glad you helped.

I'll try posting it at the WHMCS forums too. The SPAM is really irritating me.
